1. Accounts and Personal Information
ModelsFree is a public reference directory with no visitor accounts. Browsing, searching and reading guides requires no personal information. If you report a problem, we store your explanation, the public page or listing, submission time and any affected model you provide. You may optionally provide an email so we can contact you about that report. Report emails are unverified, private contact details. They do not create an account or subscribe you to marketing emails.
Reports are visible only to the operator. Discord summaries contain counts and public listing information, not your email, explanation or private operator notes. We remove optional contact emails 90 days after a report is resolved or dismissed, and delete closed reports and their history after one year. Open reports remain available until handled. You can request removal through the report form. Do not include passwords, API keys or payment information in your explanation.
To reduce report spam, the server uses a daily rotating keyed hash of the network address for submission limits. Raw network addresses are not saved with reports. These limit records expire after 24 hours and are removed during scheduled maintenance. This protection is separate from guide-view and outbound-click measurement.
Resource suggestions
When you suggest a resource, we privately store its name, website, described benefit, optional evidence and conditions, submission time, and an optional public source page. Suggestions are reviewed by the operator before any listing is added. Your optional contact email is unverified and does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing.
Suggestion summaries sent to Discord include counts and website hosts, without submitted explanations, email addresses, URL query strings, or private notes. Contact emails are removed 90 days after a suggestion is marked added or dismissed. Closed suggestions and their history are deleted after one year; open suggestions remain until handled. Removing a suggestion does not remove a published listing.
Separate submission limits use a daily rotating keyed network hash, with no stored raw network address. Limiter records expire within 48 hours. Do not put passwords, API keys, payment information, or contact details into descriptions or evidence links. Automatic contact retention applies to the email field; you can request deletion of a sensitive suggestion through the report form, quoting its reference.
2. Outbound Click Counters (Anonymous Aggregates)
When you use a “View offer” action you pass through our internal routing URL ( /go/[id]). We record one thing: an anonymous counter for that offer for that day, used for the Trending section. No IP addresses, user agents, cookies or personal identifiers are stored with clicks, and the counts are aggregate — they cannot be traced back to any visitor. A bounded in-memory rate limit (counts per minute, held only in server memory) blunts automated floods; it stores nothing about you.
3. Cookieless Measurement
This site uses cookieless aggregate analytics (Umami) to count page views and visits in totals: how many, from which rough region and device class, on which pages. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, builds no visitor profiles, and stores no identifiers that could single anyone out. Measurement activates only when the service is configured; if it is blocked or unavailable, browsing is unaffected.
Resource cards can also show aggregate guide views counted on this site since measurement began. Views count accepted guide loads, not unique people, outbound clicks or successful claims. We store totals per offer and use a random event token to avoid counting the same delivery twice. Tokens expire after 24 hours and expired records are cleared when new views arrive. These tokens identify a single page load, not a visitor. No IP address, cookie or browser fingerprint is stored with guide views. A shared burst limit reduces automated floods; counts remain approximate. Measurement failure never blocks reading.
4. Cookies and Advertising
Currently no advertising runs on ModelsFree and no third-party advertising scripts are installed. If display advertising (such as Google AdSense) is activated in the future, this section will be updated first to describe exactly what is enabled, the consent choices offered, and how to control them — and a consent notice will be shown where required before any advertising request is made.
5. Referral Links
Some outbound links are referral links, and we may earn credits or a commission when you sign up through one. This never changes listings, review dates, ordering or the Trending section. Sponsor placements, if any exist, are always labelled as sponsored.
